Join the Revolution! Revolution Rotisserie that is
Earlier this week we received an invitation to a tasting event at Revolution Rotisserie to try out their new fall menu and cocktail items. In my mind I was imagining rotisserie chickens, pumpkin pies, winter vegetables, and hardy drinks. Yup! I'm down for all of those things.
When we walked in we were greeted warmly with portraits of important historical figures re-imagined as hipsters. It was a lot more fun than it sounds, I promise.
After the usual meet and greets with the other local food instagram-ers and bloggers we got down to the nitty gritty: the menu. It ranged from a new-ish Nashville style fried chicken sandwich that sounded amazing, a Helen Keller fall salad, and my most anticipated item of the night was the pastrami style smoked salmon on a bagel. I was just really craving this again after they debuted it at last weeks de Cavel Family SIDS Foundation Brunch last week. I thought about it again after I had it the first time.
